How to use the Thanksgiving countdown
- The number at the top is the days left, counted from today.
- Read the weeks and the weekday and weekend rows to plan around work or school.
- To count down to another date, pick it in Count down to. Clear it to go back to the holiday.
Thanksgiving dates
US Thanksgiving moves each year because it is set by weekday:
| Year | Thanksgiving Day |
|---|---|
| 2026 | Thursday, November 26 |
| 2027 | Thursday, November 25 |
| 2028 | Thursday, November 23 |
| 2029 | Thursday, November 22 |
| 2030 | Thursday, November 28 |
Planning with the countdown
The big number is the days from today to Thanksgiving, not counting today. The weekday row helps if you need to book time off, and the weeks note helps with plans like ordering a turkey or booking travel. To scale a recipe for more guests, use the recipe scaler.
