How to convert letters to numbers
- Type or paste text into Input. Letters become numbers; paste numbers instead and Detect turns them back into letters.
- Choose what goes Between letters. With dashes, words are split by spaces; with spaces, words are split by a slash.
- Copy the result. Pick A is 0 only if your puzzle counts from zero.

Making it harder
A1Z26 on its own is easy to spot. Puzzle makers often combine it with another step: shift the letters first with a Caesar cipher, mirror the alphabet with Atbash (so A is 26), or turn the numbers into Morse code. Accented letters are treated as their plain letter, so É is 5.
